About Us

Music has the power to transport us to another time and place. The Bell Canto Quartet loves to harness that power with a broad audience of fellow music lovers and passionate musicians alike. The members of The Bell Canto Quartet all met at The University at Buffalo and formed the quartet during the summer of 2015. The quartet gets it's name from the words "bel canto" which translates to "beautiful music". They spell it with two "L's" because it is an acronym of the original member's names. They play many gigs at a number of different venues, including weddings, cocktail hours, proms, and others like Porchfest's and coffee shops.
